Natalia Januła

Natalia Januła is Polish-born interdisciplinary artist and a researcher currently based in London.  Januła received her MA(Hons) from Slade School of Art in 2015. Januła’s artistic practice spans across sculpture, moving image, installation, and performance. She is interested in urban and natural environments and the slippage between the two. Repeated themes within her work include domestic and fictional landscapes, object-oriented ontologies, queer and interspecies bodies, and the natural world within a technological setting.

Januła exhibited in the UK, USA, Asia, Canada, and Europe including two solo exhibitions at New Art Projects (London) and Union Gallery; group shows including the Horse Hospital, Final Hot Desert, Collective Ending, Iklectic, TBA Academy, Gossamer Fog, Embassy, Subsidiary Projects, Xxjira Hii, the Factory Project and Conditions amongst others. They also participated in residencies at Jupiter Woods, Camden Art Centre, Biquini Wax and Arts Territory.
