Gusty Ferro

Gusty will graduate from the Royal Academy Schools postgraduate programme in 2025. A former student from the fine arts roaming programme School of the Damned, Gusty participated in international residencies in Brazil, India, Ecuador, Spain, and Argentina. Their recent solo shows include Turning Into, in the Weston Studio at the Royal Academy of Arts, London, 2023 and Grinding Series at SWG3 Gallery, as the result of a residency at Glasgow Sculpture Studios in 2016.

Originally from Brazil, Gusty has been living in the UK since 2017. Currently based in Thamesmead, their practice involves walking, observing the surroundings and collecting images that compose visual research about the area. Their graphic work presented in the show are made in response to psychogeography and unsettled feelings of identity.
